(3-Dimethylaminopropyl)-Nā-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC) and N-Hydroxysuccinimide
(NHS), the peptides were attached via an amide bond. The free carboxylic acid residues were furthermore blocked with ethanolamine.
