Sensing Barcelona is a team from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) competing in the SensUs 2019 event. Fluorescence within a certain part of the EM spectrum occurs. The intensity is measured using a spectrophotometer.

Fluid handling can be done with only a pipette and the cuvette and the user need only insert the cuvette into the device in order to take a measurement.

The user interface is compromised primarily of the integrated touch screen.
